MOVE YOUR WINE WITHOUT RISK

A full glass 6.5-gallon carboy is seventy-some pounds of slick, unforgiving glass. Every time you move one, you're doing the math on what happens if it slips. Carboy Dolly takes that moment off the table. Set the carboy down once, then roll it wherever it needs to go.

BUILT FOR CARBOYS. NOTHING ELSE.

This isn't a generic furniture dolly with a carboy balanced on top. Every dimension is drawn around the carboys home winemakers actually use, so the vessel sits where it should and stays there. A 12-gauge powder-coated steel plate carries the load with zero flex: no bowing, no creaking, no wondering whether today is the day it gives.

LIFT LIKE YOU MEAN IT

Here's the part nobody designs for: getting your hands under a full carboy in the first place. Normally that means tipping it back to wedge your fingers beneath the base, with sixty pounds of wine sloshing toward the neck. The cut-out in Carboy Dolly is engineered to solve exactly that. No tilting. No spilling. No improvised bear hug.

ROLL OVER WHATEVER'S IN THE WAY

Four swivel casters with 2" heavy-duty wheels, rated to 440 lbs, over five times a full 6.5-gallon carboy. Cellars and garages aren't smooth: there are thresholds, cracked concrete, the lip of a floor drain: bigger wheels roll over all of it instead of stopping dead and jolting your wine. Two of the four casters lock both the wheel and swivel, so when you want the carboy to stay put during racking, it stays put.

A GRIP THAT HOLDS

The deck is surfaced in EPDM rubber, soft enough to cushion glass and grippy enough to keep it planted. Glass doesn't slide, doesn't skate on a turn, and doesn't chatter against steel. EPDM also shrugs off everything a cellar throws at it: sanitizer, spilled must, humidity, temperature swings, UV. It's the difference between rolling a carboy and babysitting one.

BUILT TO LAST

Powder-coated steel that stands up to spills, sanitizer, and years of cellar humidity. Made and assembled in Colorado with imported hardware, and backed by the Blushworks Lifetime Warranty: the same standard behind every product we make.

WARNING — INJURY HAZARD

A full 6.5-gallon carboy is roughly 75 lbs of glass. Carboy Dolly is built to move that safely, but a loaded carboy in motion still demands attention.

Lock the casters whenever the dolly isn't moving. Two of the four lock both wheel and swivel — use them before you rack, before you walk away, and any time the floor isn't level. An unlocked dolly can roll on a slope you didn't notice.

When moving a loaded carboy:

  • Push rather than pull, and keep it at walking pace
  • Watch the floor ahead for cracks, thresholds, hoses and drains — the dolly clears most of them, but hitting one at speed can rock the vessel
  • Keep your feet clear. 75 lbs over a toe is a serious injury
  • Move it on level ground only. Never roll a loaded carboy down a ramp or slope

Glass carboys can break. Handle a loaded dolly as carefully as you'd handle the carboy itself, and keep children and pets clear while it's loaded or in motion.

Carboy Dolly is not a step stool or a seat.
